While PC players have enjoyed Last Epoch during its lengthy Early Access phase, those on PS4 and PS5 may be wondering when it’s their turn. Unfortunately, it looks like it’s going to be a long wait.
With the success of Diablo 4 on PlayStation, it seems like players are searching for their next ARPG fix. Now, after being released into 1.0, fans have their eyes set on the critically acclaimed Last Epoch. So far, it has been a PC exclusive, enjoying a feature-rich Early Access phase. Unfortunately, it’s looking like that streak isn’t breaking any time soon.
Is Last Epoch Coming to PS4 and PS5?
No, the Last Epoch is not coming to PS4 or PS5. It is currently a PC exclusive via Steam, and there are no official plans to port the game to PlayStation consoles. However, it is possible that Last Epoch will eventually come to PS4 and PS5. The developer, Eleventh Hour Gaming, said via Reddit that it “do[es] plan to bring it to console.”
However, it also clearly stated that console development has not started at all and that there is no “set timeline for the release of Last Epoch on console.” This is the same for Xbox, as it will not be ported there either. Unfortunately, this means that the only way to experience it is via PC, which may not be an option for every player.
So, if you were hoping to play Last Epoch on PS4 or PS5, you may have to wait a little while. It’s not clear if it will come to last-gen consoles.
