There are many different machines in LEGO Fortnite, and each one is vital to survival in the game. While the number of devices to craft may seem overwhelming, they are worthwhile. Below is our guide on how to create the Loom in the game.
How to Make a Loom in Lego Fortnite
A Loom can be made using 9 Flexwood, 8 Flexwood Rod, and 6 Sand Claw. It can be crafted from the Utility build menu. Each of the components required to craft the device is found in the Dry Valley biome of LEGO Fortnite.
Flexwood is obtainable by destroying Cacti with a Rare Axe. The plant is easy to spot as it is green and covered in small spikes. Make sure to harvest more, as some are also needed to make Flexwood Rods. By taking standard Flexwood and selecting the rods recipe in the Lumber Mill, you can make Flexwood Rods. Lastly, Sand Claws are earned by defeating the Wolves that roam around the Dry Valley. Make sure to bring an Uncommon or Rare Sword to take them down with ease.
The Loom is a device that allows players to create two distinct types of fabrics, Silk and Wool. While they can be crafted into Thread, feeding them into the Loom turns them into Silk and Wool Fabric, respectively. Having these materials is crucial in creating the Glider and other decorations in LEGO Fortnite.
How to Unlock the Loom Schematic in LEGO Fortnite
The ability to craft the Loom is unlocked by upgrading your Crafting Bench to at least Rare in LEGO Fortnite. Here are the required components to level the bench to Rare:
- 12x Knotroot Rods
- It can be found in Caves in the Grasslands, harvested with an Uncommon Axe, and then crafted in a Lumber Mill.
- 15x Marble Slabs
- It is found within Caves and is mined with an Uncommon Pickaxe or greater.
- 6x Sand Claws
- These can be acquired by defeating Wolves in the Dry Valley region.
- 3x Sand Shells
- It is found by killing the Roller enemies in the Dry Valley biome.
As a Rare level Axe is needed to mine Flexwood from Cacti, the player’s Crafting Bench must be at the appropriate rarity level to ensure they are successful. Once the bench is upgraded, players can make the Rare Axe at the Crafting Bench, indicated by the Blue marking in its icon. The following components are required to make the tool in LEGO Fortnite.
- 5x Cut Amber
- Take Rough Amber (found on top of Dry Valley mountains) and feed into a Gem Cutter.
