There are many seeds that players can plant and turn into consumable food while playing LEGO Fortnite. From Raspberries to Corn and so much more, you’ll have no shortage of things to farm. However, to plant any of these seeds, you’ll first need to make sure you have Soil handy. In this guide, we go over how to set Soil and what it creates.
How to Get Soil in LEGO Fortnite
Soil can be acquired in LEGO Fortnite by using a shovel and pressing the “Use” button. The character will start digging, and soil will be placed in your inventory after a couple of seconds. To craft a shovel, players will need to obtain three wooden rods and one plank.
The Wooden Rods are crafted by placing 3 pieces of wood into the Lumber Mill. To create planks, you’ll also need the Lumber Mill and just one stock of wood. Lastly, to build the Lumber Mill, you’ll need to first build a Campfire and Crafting Bench. Afterward, the recipe for a Lumber Mill will be unlocked, and players will just need to collect eight wood pieces and 15 granite to craft it.
What Is Soil Used for in Lego Fortnite
Soil is used to create a Plot of Soil in LEGO Fortnite. You’ll need it to plant seeds that grow into food. To create a Plot of Soil you’ll need the following ingredients:
- 2 clumps of Soil
- You can either use a shovel twice or craft a rare shovel that gives 2 pieces of Soil per dig.
- 1 Fertilizer
- Gained from Sheep, Chickens, or Cows by feeding them and waiting for them to drop it.
