How to Join a Public Game in Helldivers 2
To join a public game in Helldivers 2, you must change your Matchmaking Privacy setting to public and then join a Quickplay game via the Galactic War console in the War Room of your ship. You join a Quickplay game by pressing Square (PlayStation) or clicking Quickplay above the difficulty setting at the bottom of the map screen.
Once you’ve selected Quickplay, you’ll be informed that it’s “searching for active SOS beacons”, after which you’ll join a game. You’ll then select your loadout and head into the match.
