Granblue Fantasy: Relink: When Is the Review Embargo?

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is launching very soon, making players wonder when the review embargo will finally drop. Here’s what you need to know.

Review embargos are implemented to ensure that the media’s impressions aren’t leaked early, potentially spoiling the game for players. Of course, fans understandably hate them as they keep reviews from them for what always feels like far too long. That can absolutely be said about the hotly anticipated RPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink, which fans are desperate to get more information on. Of course, while the demo and previews have done a good job of selling the game, there’s nothing like hearing what the final product is like. Fortunately, below, we explain when the review embargo for Granblue Fantasy: Relink will drop.

The Granblue Fantasy: Relink review embargo will drop on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at 7 am PST, 10 pm EST, 3 pm GMT, and 2 am AEDT (January 29). This is 5 days before the game officially releases on Thursday, February 1, 2024. It is also the start time for the Early Access period. This will give players plenty of time to weigh up whether to pre-order the game.

It is important to note that this date has not been officially confirmed by the developer Cygames. Instead, it is based on when review embargos typically lift. Previously, reviews for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising in the West were released a day after release. However, due to it being a fighting game, it’s possible reviews got relayed to try out online matchmaking. Nevertheless, fans should expect the review embargo to lift a bit before the game’s official release date, at least around the Early Access period.
