PC players hoping to try out Granblue Fantasy: Relink before it drops may want to try out its recently released demo. Unfortunately, it may not be so simple.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink got a new demo at the start of the month, giving players a relatively significant look at the game and its various modes. Of course, if you’re on PlayStation, you’ve likely been enjoying the demo since it was released. However, PC players may be feeling a little left out and wondering how they can try it, too. Is There a Granblue Fantasy: Relink Demo on PC?
No, there is not a demo for Granblue Fantasy: Relink on PC. The game’s demo is exclusive to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of the game. This is according to the game’s official website, which lists a demo for the PS4 and PS5 versions but not for Steam.
It isn’t clear why there isn’t a demo on PC, especially considering the sheer number of demos available on Steam. Notably, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, the re-release of the popular fighting set in the same universe as Relink, does have a demo on Steam. Similarly, JRPGs such as Final Fantasy XIV, Octopath Traveler 2, and Star Ocean The Second Story R do have demos on PC.
Unfortunately, this means that PC fans who were hoping to try Granblue Fantasy: Relink before they buy, won’t be able to. If you want to try the game and have access to a PlayStation 4 or 5, you can play the demo on there right now.
