Geoff Keighley’s pre-cursor to Gamescom, Opening Night Live, is currently taking place, many games are being showcased and the lineup seems impressive.

Starfield
A new live-action trailer for Starfield was shown, giving players an opportunity to see the different planets they will go on expeditions to.
Starfield launches on September 1, 2023, for early access players and on September 6, 2023, for Xbox Series X/S and PC. You can view our full review here.
Little Nightmares 3
A debut trailer was shown for the newest entry in Supermassive Games’ series, Little Nightmares 3. The trailer showcased different gameplay and levels that they would see throughout the game.
The game will be available in 2024 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Black Myth: Wukong
New gameplay footage was shown by Chinese studio Game Science for their much anticipated RPG, Black Myth: Wukong. The footage displayed new combat encounters along with enemies.
Players can look forward to playing Black Myth: Wukong on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Killing Floor 3
A CGI trailer for the next installment of the Killing Floor franchise was revealed at Opening Night Live. The zombie-wave survival game garnered much hype with its second game.
Killing Floor 3 will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Age of Empires 4
An Anniversary Edition of Age of Empires 4 was announced.
Available now on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass.
Rebel Moon
A trailer for Zack Snyder’s sci-fi epic Rebel Moon debuted during Opening Night Live. The film is split into two parts: Child of Fire, which will be released on December 22, 2023, and The Scargiver, which will be released on April 19, 2024. Also announced is a game currently in development, taking place after the events of the film.
Crimson Desert
Some new gameplay was revealed for the next open-world action-adventure game by Pearl Abyss, Crimson Desert. The game’s narrative follows a group of mercs as they navigate the world of Pyrel.
The game is heading to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
Payday 3
Ice-T debuted a new trailer for the co-op heisting game, Payday 3. Along with announcing having a heist mission of his own, the trailer shows off a new heist players will undertake in the game.
Payday 3 releases on September 21, 2023, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Ubisoft released a new trailer during Opening Night Live that gives players a look at the environment they will be roaming in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the city of Baghdad.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is available as of October 5, 2023, for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Tekken 8
Bandai-Namco brought new footage for the next iteration of their iconic fighting series, Tekken 8. The trailer shows off new modes, such as a new single-player mode called Arcade Quest, where players make their own avatars and fight against others in matches.
Tekken 8 releases on January 26, 2024, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
The opening minutes of a mission were shown for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, showcasing a night raid mission on a castle with members of Task Force 141. The footage revealed gameplay from the campaign, with footage of the multiplayer to be revealed during Call of Duty Next, on October 5, 2023.

Nightingale
New information was revealed on the survival-crafting title, Nightingale, including an early access date of February 22, 2024. Along with new footage of different gameplay elements that players will get to experience.
Granblue Fantasy Relink
A release date of February 1, 2024, for Granblue Fantasy Relink was revealed during a trailer for the game at Opening Night Live.
The game is released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Immortals of Aveum
Gina Torres who plays Kirkan in the game, promoted the release of Immortals of Aveum.
The game is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Zenless Zone Zero
The newest game in the HoYoverse, Zenless Zone Zero was discussed by the developers today. New gameplay was shown as well as the different characters and features that are present within the game.

Lords of the Fallen
A new story trailer was revealed for Lords of the Fallen is unveiled today and offered new story details and gameplay coming to the game.

Sonic Superstars
Sega showed off the multiplayer aspect of Sonic Superstars today at Opening Night Live. The entire game can be played with more than one person in the co-op mode. Also, a new, free update is coming to Sonic Frontiers called “The Final Horizon” with new story content, playable characters, and more included with it.
Sonic Superstars is available on October 17, 2023, on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. You can read our full review here.
The First Descendant
The newest trailer for The First Descendant details the story of the game, a conflict between the Descendants and the alien race called the Vulgus as they fight over the last groups of humanity. The game is utilizing Unreal Engine 5.2
The First Descendant will be available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
Fort Solis
Voice actors Troy Baker, Roger Clark, and Julia Brown presented the launch trailer for the thriller, Fort Solis.
The game is now available on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.
Expeditions: A Mudrunner Game
The newest game from Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive in the Mudrunner series called Expeditions was given a world premiere. The offroading series looks to bring new features such as anchoring vehicles, a camera drone to spot different objects and obstacles, and much more.
The game has a 2024 release date and is releasing on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The Crew Motorfest
Ubisoft brought a launch trailer for The Crew: Motorfest, showing different vehicles such as Porsche, Ferrari, Ford, and more. A free trial for the game is also available from September 14-17, 2023 and players can play the game for five hours, with all progress being able to be carried over to the full game.
The Crew: Motorfest launches on September 11, 2023, for Gold and Ultimate Edition owners and on September 14, 2023 for Standard Edition.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty
CD Projekt Red debuted new information along with footage at Opening Night Live on the new changes coming with the 2.0 update alongside the Phantom Liberty expansion. Many of the game features are being reworked, such as skill trees, police behavior in the game, and more. Some of the changes will be free to players who own the base game version of Cyberpunk 2077 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The 2.0 update and Phantom Liberty expansion launch on September 26, 2023.
Stormgate
A real-time strategy game in a similar vein to Starcraft, developer studio Frost Giant’s Stormgate had a second faction shown today called the Infernal Host.
The Last Epoch
Eleventh Hour Games, an indie studio behind ARPG, The Last Epoch, announced a new class coming in September called The Runemaster which use of over 40 different abilities with the press of a button.
The Last Epoch is available now on PC.
Warhaven
Warhaven is a 16 vs. 16 third-person medieval fighting game developed by Nexon. Players will be taking part in different, hectic battles involving medieval weapons from swords to trebuchets.
The game is free-to-play and is launching on Steam on September 21, 2023.
Mortal Kombat 1
Ed Boon presented a new trailer for Mortal Kombat 1. The trailer unveiled two new characters coming to the much-anticipated game: General Shao and Queen Sindel. Also, two new Kameo fighters were shown: Motaro, the queen’s protector, and Shujinko.

Ara: History Untold
Gameplay for the new turn-based strategy history title Ara: History Untold was displayed at Opening Night Live. The game looks to have likenesses to Sid Meier’s Civilization series. It is being developed by Oxide Games and published by Xbox.
Ara: History Untold is set to release in 2024 on PC via Steam and Game Pass.
Diablo 4
A new season for Diablo 4 is coming with a new questline involving Vampire Hunter named Iris and new vampiric powers to help stop a plague of Vampirism roaming the lands.

Alan Wake 2
A new trailer blending in-game footage and live-action debuted today for Alan Wake 2. The trailer showed off the nightmarish version of New York City that Alan has been trapped in at the beginning of the new game for over 13 years.
Alan Wake 2 is releasing on October 27, 2023, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
