Is Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Getting DLC?
No, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is not getting any DLC. This has been confirmed by the Creative Director, Tetsuya Nomura. In an interview with Spanish outlet Vandal back in 2023, Nomura shot down any possibility of DLC for Rebirth, stating that there were no plans.
This may come as a surprise to many, who were perhaps hoping that Rebirth would see some form of DLC, perhaps centered around Vincent Valentine. After all, Final Fantasy 7 Remake received DLC in the form of the Intermission episode, which focused on Yuffie’s whereabouts during the events of the game. However, for those who were hoping for a little more Rebirth content, it isn’t happening.
Fans will just have to wait until the next game releases to spend more time in the huge world of Final Fantasy 7. Until then, there’s still plenty of content to complete in Rebirth.
