Another Crab’s Treasure: How to Fast Travel

Players looking to fast travel in Another Crab’s Treasure will have to be a little patient, as it’s not unlocked until you reach a certain point in the story.

After starting Another Crab’s Treasure, you may have noticed the skill Shelleportation in your skill tree menu. This allows you to fast travel, a very handy feature in Another Crab’s Treasure. However, even if you have enough Umami Crystals to unlock it, it remains unavailable. Fortunately, it doesn’t take long until you can unlock it, and we explain the steps you need to take below.

How to Unlock Fast Travel in Another Crab’s Treasure

To unlock fast travel in Another Crab’s Treasure, you will need to speak to the Moon Snail in the Moon Snail’s Domain. Fortunately, you do this naturally as you progress through the story. You will first need to get to Fort Slacktide, where you will defeat the Polluted Platoon Pathfinder boss and get access to the Fishing Line grappling hook. After doing this, you’ll head down to the Moon Snail’s Domain, which is just outside of the Fort. There, talk to the Moon Snail, who will give you the ability to unlock the fast travel skill called Shelleportation. You’ll need to then head into your skill tree menu and unlock it for five Umami Crystals.

Reaching Fort Slacktide won’t take very long as it’s quite early on in the main story. You can probably reach it within an hour or two, depending on how long you spend exploring the area before it. Fortunately, you won’t really need to fast travel in the starting areas, as they’re not as expansive as later sections of the game.

Once you have unlocked fast travel, you’ll need to head to a previously visited Moon Snail Shell and choose the Shelleport option. This will allow you to choose between any of the other Moon Snail Shells you’ve unlocked. Fortunately, there are plenty of these, and they’re well-placed, so you won’t have to do too much trekking around.
