Zombies Outbreak CoD MW3

Will Call of Duty: MW3 Have Zombies?

Call of Duty: MW3 has recently been officially announced after being rumoured for months, and players are wondering what features will be available at launch, including the infamous Zombies mode.

Call of Duty: Zombies made an original appearance in CoD: WaW, and for the last 15 years, has appeared infrequently throughout the franchise. Fortunately, there is some positive news for those hoping the mode will return in MW3.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Outbreak is Returning

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will feature zombies, but not in the traditional sense. According to various leaks, the mode will be similar to the Zombies Outbreak mode introduced in Black Ops Cold War.

Outbreak is a large-scale Zombies mode where players would complete missions and defeat enemies on an open map. There are no rounds, and instead, Zombies just spawn randomly throughout the map. After completing the objective, a beacon will spawn where players can Pack-A-Punch their guns, and decide if they want to exfil or warp to the next location where the difficulty increases.

While this might not be the Zombies experience many would have hoped for, it’s great to see the mode returning nonetheless.
