Stellar Blade is launching on PlayStation 5 at launch, marking yet another high-profile game coming exclusively to PlayStation. Naturally, this is making players wonder if it will ever leave Sony’s clutches and be ported to PC. After all, hacking and slashing your way through Stellar Blade’s gorgeous environments on PC would be a breathtaking experience. Unfortunately, if you were hoping it’d be on PC soon, you may be hoping for a little while longer.
Is Stellar Blade Coming to PC?
No, Stellar Blade is not coming to PC. It is launching exclusively for the PlayStation 5, and there has been no official announcement that it will be coming to PC post-launch. If you want to play Stellar Blade, at least at launch on Friday, April 26, 2024, you’ll need to play it on PS5.
Of course, it is possible that Stellar Blade could eventually be released on PC. After all, previous PlayStation exclusives such as Final Fantasy 16 have been ported or will be in the near future. It’s clear that Sony is trying to push more PlayStation games onto PC after the likes of Helldivers 2 have seen great success on the platform.
However, for the time being, Stellar Blade is not coming to PC. There is no official date for when it will if it ever does. If it were to come to PC, players should expect it no sooner than mid to late 2025. Sony typically signs year-long exclusivity deals, such as with Final Fantasy 16.
