Star Wars Outlaws, Ubisoft’s upcoming action-adventure game set in a galaxy far, far away, was delayed previously until at least after April 2024.
That was until a Disney Parks blog post announced that it would launch in ‘late 2024.’ However, Ubisoft was quick to dismiss the claim and reinstate the broad 2024 timeframe.
Disney Accidentally Leaked A Late 2024 Release For Star Wars Outlaws
On the Disney Parks website, Thomas Smith, the editorial content director, compiled a list of the 24 Disney Experiences coming in 2024. With the post containing all things Disney, the mention of Star Wars Outlaws is further down the list behind key updates, including new rides coming to Disneyland Resort and new reimagined shows of Disney classics.
Nevertheless, the Star Wars Outlaws blurb originally stated that “Star Wars Outlaws, the open world Star Wars game, is set to release late this year.”
However, this was quickly amended, and the Star Wars Outlaws blurb now states, “Star Wars Outlaws, the open-world Star Wars game is set to release in 2024.” Unfortunately, there is no additional timeframe comment besides the generic 2024 window. Looking at the bright side, it seems Star Wars Outlaws is still on track to release in 2024, and it could be earlier than “late 2024” if Ubisoft is willing to quickly amend any incorrect information.
Star Wars Outlaws will be released on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Ubisoft Connect in 2024. We’ll be sure to update you with more information on the game as it becomes available.
