Sons of the Forest: Is it Coming to Xbox Game Pass?

Sons of the Forest has finally released into 1.0 on PC, but is it coming to Xbox Game Pass any time soon? Here’s what you need to know.

Sons of the Forest has enjoyed a well-received Early Access period and has now officially launched into 1.0. Naturally, fans are wondering when the console ports will start appearing. It makes sense, especially when considering the original game, The Forest, was on consoles. Unfortunately, if you were hoping Sons of the Forest would appear on Game Pass any time soon, you’re out of luck.

Is Sons of the Forest Coming to Xbox Game Pass?

No, Sons of the Forest is not coming to Xbox Game Pass. There are also currently no official plans to bring it to Xbox consoles. It will remain a PC-exclusive game for the foreseeable future. The developer, Endnight Games, has not announced any console ports despite the game launching into 1.0 on February 22, 2024.

It’s worth noting that Sons of the Forest started off as an Early Access title, which typically does not launch onto consoles. However, Xbox does allow some Early Access games, including the recently released Palworld, which was also released onto Game Pass. So, while it’s not unsurprising that Sons of the Forest is not on Game Pass, it’s understandable why fans want to know.

Of course, this doesn’t mean there won’t be an Xbox port in the future. It is possible that Sons of the Forest will make it over to the platform, as well as be put onto Game Pass at some point. However, for now, it is not coming to Xbox Game Pass. That’s everything you need to know. For more guides just like this one, be sure to check out our Guide Hub.
