Remnant 2‘s release is quickly approaching, and many are questioning when they can pre-load the game to be ready for launch.
Many players are looking forward to Gunfire Games’ sequel to Remnant: From The Ashes. Ever since announcing the July release date during Summer Game Fest 2023, the anticipation for the game has only grown.
Remnant 2 is looking to build upon the great survival shooter that was first introduced in 2019. The first game brought a unique mix of soul-like combat and mechanics with firearms.
What is Remnant 2?
The Remnant sequel continues the player’s quest to ensure the last of humanity is not brought to extinction. After creating their own character and deciding on a starting class, gamers will set out through unique and terrifying worlds in order to find the answers to protecting the world.
The combat in the game is akin to that of the Dark Souls series and is basically “souls with guns”. Fans of the series may find much interest in playing Remnant 2, especially with a studio like Gunfire Games making it with love.
However many are anxiously waiting to know when they can download the game so it can be ready to play when the game releases. Fortunately, dates have started to pop up and we know when pre-load can begin.
When Can Remnant 2 Be Preloaded?
As per usual with most titles to pre-load, a two-day window is typically given. According to the PlayStation Store, Remnant 2 will be available to start downloading as of July 19, 2023. Although this is probably only for the Ultimate Edition owners as the game launches for them on July 21st.
More information on pre-load times by zone:
- 4 pm July 19th – Pacific Standard Time (PST)
- 7 pm July 19th – Eastern Standard Time (EST)
- 12 am July 20th – British Summer Time (BST)
- 9 am July 20th – Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)
If the Standard and Deluxe editions are to follow with later pre-load times from the Ultimate Edition then the schedule should be as so:
- 4 pm July 23rd – Pacific Standard Time (PST)
- 7 pm July 23rd – Eastern Standard Time (EST)
- 12 am July 24th – British Summer Time (BST)
- 9 am July 24th – Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)
Players can look forward to Remnant 2 releasing on July 21, 2023, for Ultimate Edition owners, and July 25, 2023, for Standard and Deluxe Editions owners.
