The eagerly awaited Remnant 2 is out now for Ultimate Edition owners, and with one hidden archetype already unlocked, players are wondering if there are others, such as the Invader.
There are currently 11 known playable Archetypes in Remnant 2, including the Gunslinger, Handler, Challenger, Medic, Hunter, Alchemist, Explorer, Summoner, and the newly-discovered Engineer. Although, there is some speculation that there might be additional Archetypes available later in the game.
Is There an Invader Archetype in Remnant 2?
There is an Invader Archetype in Remnant 2. It was originally reported that there was no Invader Archetype in the game as Fextra Life, the team behind the Remnant 2 wiki, had hidden URLs for three different Archetypes that did not feature as starting Archetypes.
When accessing the pages on the Wiki, you received a 403 error stating that the page is forbidden and that you did not have access to the page. This happened on all three of the pages and meant that the information might have become available at a later date or that they knew something that others didn’t.
Fortunately, we can confirm now that the Invader Archetype is in the game, and here is how to unlock it.
The Invader specialises in elusiveness and misdirecting the enemy’s focus, and it can be unlocked by acquiring Serrated Root Blade Engram.
To craft it, players will need to travel to the Corrupted Harbor in Root Earth, and locate the Blue Sparkle Stone (see image above). Then, you must use the Dreamcatcher weapon on the Blue Sparkle Stone to get a consumable item called the Walker’s Dream. Using the item will spawn a boss called Bane.
Defeating the boss will reward you with the Wooden Shiv, and if you head back to Wallace in Ward 13, you can create the Invader Archetype Engram, the Serrated Root Blade.
Remnant 2 is out now for Ultimate Edition owners, and will officially release on July 25, 2023. The game is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
