The latest Pokemon Go season has arrived, and here are all the Battle League details and key dates for World of Wonders.

The Pokemon Go: Battle League is a feature in the game that allows players to choose Pokemon and compete in competitive, online trainer battles. Players can receive rewards for winning battles, and with every season, the prizes are reset. Here is everything you need to know about the Pokemon Go: World of Wonders Battle League.

When Does The Pokemon Go Battle League: World of Wonders Season Begin?

The Pokemon Go Battle League: World of Wonders Season launches globally on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 1:00 pm PST / 4:00 pm EST / 9:00 pm GMT / 8:00 am AEDT (March 2).

At the beginning of the season, players will earn their End-of-Season rewards from the previous season, and their Battle League rank will be reset.

Pokemon Go Battle League: World of Wonders Full League Schedule

The Pokemon Go Battle League rotates through different leagues on particular dates, so players must switch up their teams to keep progressing. The following leagues will begin and end at 1:00 pm PST / 4:00 pm EST / 9:00 pm GMT / 8:00 am AEDT (March 2) on the dates listed below.

March 2 – March 9

  • Great League
  • Electric Cup: Great League Edition

Electric Cup Specifications:

  • Pokemon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter.
  • Only Electric-type Pokemon are eligible.
  • Stunfisk, Heliolisk, Charjabug, and Vikavolt are banned.

March 9 – March 16

  • Ultra League
  • Spring Cup: Great League Edition

Spring Cup Specifications:

  • Pokemon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter.
  • Only Water-, Grass-, and Fairy-type Pokemon are eligible.
  • Mantine and Toxapex are banned.

March 16 to March 23

  • Master League*
  • Spring Cup: Great League Edition*

Spring Cup Specifications:

  • Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter.
  • Only Water-, Grass-, and Fairy-type Pokémon are eligible.

GO Battle Weekend: World of Wonders

The Pokemon Go Battle Weekend: World of Wonders will take place from Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 12:00 am to Sunday, May 5, 2024, at 11:59 pm local time.

Players can expect the following bonuses to be active:

  • 4× Stardust from win rewards. (This does not include end-of-set rewards.)
  • The maximum number of sets you can play per day will be increased from five to 20—for a total of 100 battles—from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm local time.
    *Free battle-themed Timed Research will be available. Rewards include the avatar item Hala-Style Shoes.

2024 Pokemon Europe International Championships Bonus

The Pokemon Go 2024 Pokemon Europe International Championships Bonus will take place from Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 12:00 am to Sunday, April 7, 2024, at 11:59 pm local time.

Players can expect the following bonuses to be active:

  • The maximum number of sets you can play per day will be increased from five to 10—for a total of 50 battles—from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm local time.

GO Battle League Timed Research Pass

For the most dedicated Trainers, a Timed Research battle pass will be available in the in-game shop at no cost once the Pokemon Go Battle League: World of Wonders begins.

This Timed Research will keep track of your victories throughout the Season. Each research page will require 100 wins to complete, and doing so will reward you with a small amount of Stardust and items, such as an Elite Fast TM (at 400 wins) and an Elite Charged TM (at 500 wins).
