Charged-Up Research Day is the first event of the new season of Pokemon Go, and here are all the details, featured Pokemon, and more.

This event is significantly smaller than the recent Pokemon Go Tour: Sinnoh – Global celebration, but, as the name suggests, it will allow players to catch electric-type Pokemon. Here is everything you need to know about the Pokemon Go: Charged-Up Research Day.

When is the Road to Sinnoh Event in Pokemon Go?

Pokemon Go: Charged-Up Research Day takes place on Sunday, March 3, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time.

As always, this means people from New Zealand will have access to the event almost a whole day before those in the United States.

Wild Encounters

These Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild during the Road to Sinnoh Event in Pokemon Go.

  • Minun (Shiny Available)

Field Research Tasks

As with every event, there will be Pokemon Go Charged-Up Research Day Field Research tasks, and these will be available when you spin Photo Discs at PokeStops. Here are the Featured Pokemon you can catch.

Timed Research

For US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access event-exclusive Timed Research until Sunday, March 3, 2024, 5:00 pm local time. The Timed Research will challenge you to complete Field Research tasks to encounter more Featured Pokemon. Here are the Timed Research encounters for the Charged-Up Research Day ticket:
