Galarian Legendary Birds

Pokemon GO: How to Catch Galarian Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres

Legendaries in Pokemon Go are typically caught in raid battles, although, it’s a little different for Galarian Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres.

Instead, these legendary Pokemon appear in the Daily Adventure Incense feature, and are extremely difficult to catch. Here is everything you need to know about Galarian Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres.

How to Catch Galarian Articuno, Zaptos, and Moltres

You can catch Galarian Articuno, Zaptos, and Moltres by utilising the Daily Adventure Incense feature. This feature introduces additional spawns beyond the current Pokemon Go season or event-specific pool.

Unfortunately, it’s not that easy to find the legendary birds. Their appearances are a rarity, and if luck isn’t on your side within the 15-minute window of a single Daily Adventure Incense session, you’ll have to wait until the following day for another chance. To maximize your odds of catching them, make sure you stay on the move during this period and stay vigilant for Incense spawns. However, even if you find these Pokemon, they aren’t the easiest to catch.

Galarian Articuno, Zaptos, and Moltres Catch and Flee Rates

The challenge escalates further when it comes to capturing these Galarian Legendary birds. The typical base catch rate of legendaries is 2%, and won’t flee until you’ve exhausted all your Premier Balls. However, Galarian Articuno, Zaptos, and Moltres have a base catch rate of a mere 0.3% and an astonishingly high flee rate of 90% in Pokemon Go.

Trainers can improve their chances of catching the Pokemon by using a Razz Berry, executing curveball throws, and achieving great or excellent throws. However, due to the low catch rate and high flee rate, we highly recommend using a Master Ball to catch the Galarian Legendary Birds.

The unexpected appearance of Galarian Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres in the Daily Adventure Incense feature has added an exciting layer of challenge and intrigue to Pokemon Go. The hunt for these birds promises to be rewarding for Pokemon Go enthusiasts due to their extreme rarity.
