Pokemon Go February 2024 Community Day: Chansey Details and Times

The next Pokemon Go Community Day for February 2024 will allow Trainers to catch Shiny Chansey with a Featured Attack.

The next Community Day will occur on Sunday, February 4, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time. Here are all the details you need to know:

What Pokemon will be Featured in the February 2024 Community Day?

Chansey, the Egg Pokemon, will be the next featured Pokemon in the February 2024 Pokemon Go Community Day. As always, you might even encounter a Shiny Chansey on the day, too.

Moreover, if you evolve Chansey into Blissey during the event, you will receive the Charged Attack Wild Charge. This will be available for up to five hours after the event. Here are the move details:

Wild Charge (Electric) – Featured attack

• Trainer Battles: 100 power and guaranteed to decrease the User’s Defense.
• Gyms and raids: 90 power

[Paid] Community Day Special Research Story

For just US$1.00 (or the equivalent in your local currency), Trainers can access the exclusive Chansey Community Day Special Research story.

This unique research will grant players additional encounters with the Community Day Pokemon, Chansey. It will only be available during the Community Day event times, and tickets are nonrefundable.

Event Bonuses

There will also be additional bonuses throughout the Chansey Pokemon Go Community Day, including:

• 2× Candy for catching Pokemon.
• 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokemon.
• 1/4 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in Incubators during the event period.
• Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
• Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last three hours.
• Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
• One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day.
• Trades will require 50% less Stardust.
• Happiny has a chance of hatching from 2 km Eggs obtained during February Community Day. Happiny that hatch from these Eggs will have the same chance of appearing as a Shiny Pokemon as Chansey that appear during February Community Day.

The trade and Happiny bonuses will last until 10:00 pm local time.

Eggs

During the event, Happiny will spawn more frequently from 2 km eggs and will have an increased chance of being Shiny.

Bonus Raid Battles (After Community Day)

After the three-hour Community Day event finishes, Trainers can participate in special four-star Raid Battles. This will run from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm local time.

The following Pokemon will be available for Raids in the After Community Day Bonus Raid Battles:

• Chansey

You can’t use Remote Raid Passes to join these raids.

Raid Rewards

Defeating the Raid Pokemon will cause Chansey to spawn more frequently around the host Gym for 30 minutes. Chansey will also have the same chance to appear as Shiny as it did during the Community Day three-hour event period.

Field Research and Pokestop Showcases

Community Day Field Research will be available for all Trainers. These can be completed by catching Chansey and will yield additional encounters with Chansey, Stardust, Great Balls, and more.

Chansey will also be the featured Pokemon at PokeStop Showcases, so be on the lookout for that.

There will be event bundles for the Pokemon Go Community Day Chansey that will be significantly cheaper than the usual price. These are the same bundles as those from previous Community Days. Here are the deals:

• 30 Ultra Balls.
• 1 Incense.

• 50 Ultra Balls.
