Pokemon Go January 2024 Community Day: Rowlet Details and Times

The next Pokemon Go Community Day for January 2024 will allow Trainers to catch Shiny Rowlet with a Featured Attack.

The next Community Day will occur on Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time. Here are all the details you need to know:

What Pokemon will be Featured in the January 2024 Community Day?

Rowlet, the Grass Quill Pokemon, will be the next featured Pokemon in the January 2024 Pokemon Go Community Day. You might even encounter a Shiny Rowlet on the day, too.

Furthermore, if you evolve Rowlet’s evolution, Dartrix, into Decidueye, you will receive the Charged Attack Frenzy Plant. This will be available for up to two hours after the event. Here are the move details:

Frenzy Plant – Featured attack

• Trainer Battles: 100 power
• Gyms and raids: 100 power

Spirit Shackle – Attack Availability Update

Beginning with this event, Decidueye can now learn the Charged Attack Spirit Shackle. This will be available permanently once the event commences. Here are the move details:

• Trainer Battles: 50 power and a chance to lower the opposing Pokemon’s Defense by one stage
• Gyms and raids: 70 power

[Paid] Community Day Special Research Story

For just US$1.00 (or the equivalent in your local currency), Trainers can access the Rowlet Community Day Special Research story.

As always, this unique research will grant players additional encounters with the Community Day Pokemon, and in this case, Rowlet. It will only be available during the Community Day Classic event times, and tickets are nonrefundable.

Event Bonuses

There will also be additional bonuses throughout the Rowlet Pokemon Go Community Day, including:

• 3× Stardust for catching Pokemon.
• 2× Candy for catching Pokemon.
• 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokemon.
• Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
• Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last three hours.
• Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
• One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day.
• Trades will require 50% less Stardust.

The trade bonuses will last until 10:00 pm local time.

Field Research and Pokestop Showcases

Community Day Field Research will be available for all Trainers. These can be completed by catching Rowlet and yield more encounters with Rowlet, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and more.

Rowlet will also be the featured Pokemon at PokeStop Showcases, so be on the lookout for that.

Bonus Raid Battles (After Community Day)

After the three-hour Community Day event finishes, Trainers can participate in special four-star Raid Battles. This will run from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm local time.

The following Pokemon will be available for Raids in the After Community Day Bonus Raid Battles:

• Dartrix (Evolution of Rowlet)

You can’t use Remote Raid Passes to join these raids.

Raid Rewards

Defeating the Raid Pokemon will cause Rowlet to spawn more frequently around the host Gym for 30 minutes. Rowlet will also have the same chance to appear as Shiny as it did during the Community Day three-hour event period.
