Pokemon Go: Weather Week takes place on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 10:00 am to Monday, March 18, 2024, at 8:00 pm in your local timezone. This means you’ll have plenty of time to find a Castform, but can you catch it as Shiny?
Can You Catch Shiny Castform in Pokemon Go?
Luckily, you can catch a Shiny Castform in Pokemon Go. When the event starts, players can find themselves a Shiny variant of Castform at an increased rate through Field Research task encounters.
All forms of Castform—Normal, Sunny, Rainy, and Snowy—can be caught as Shiny in Pokemon Go.
What Does Shiny Castform Look Like?
Shiny Castform exhibits a pink/purple hue over the original in its normal form in Pokemon Go. This seems to be the case with every shiny Castform displaying deeper colors that you would typically associate with its element. In rain form, Castform becomes bluer/greener; in sunny form, it becomes red/orange; and in snowy form, it changes to blue/yellow.
