The official PlayStation Plus monthly games for October have been announced, which include a variety of games for everyone.
Subscribers of any PlayStation Plus tier will gain access to the October lineup which includes The Callisto Protocol, Farming Simulator 22, and Weird West. The titles will be available for download from October 3 to November 6, 2023, and PlayStation Plus owners have until October 2 to download the September lineup before it expires.
The Callisto Protocol – PlayStation 4/5
In The Callisto Protocol, players assume the role of Jacob Lee, a freight transporter who crashes on the moon of Callisto. Forced into incarceration on the planet’s prison, Black Iron, a mysterious disease, has turned the occupants into horrific bio monsters. Armed with a variety of weapons, Jacob must not only survive but find a way off of Callisto.
Taking inspiration from Dead Space, The Callisto Protocol incorporates a unique health indicator placed on the back of the protagonist Jacob’s neck, courtesy of the “C.O.R.E. Device.” This innovative approach to health tracking immerses players in the game world.
The game introduces a dynamic combat system, offering two distinct approaches to confront adversaries: firearms and a melee combat system that relies on precise dodging and well-timed strikes to defeat enemies.
Farming Simulator 22 – PlayStation 4/5
Farming Simulator 22 is the ultimate simulator game for those looking to get a glimpse into the world of agriculture. The Farming Simulator franchise has a long history of over 15 years and the latest iteration continues the trend of immersive farming gameplay for players around the world.
Farming Simulator 22 features many real-world farming brands, a weather mechanic, and much more. Players can play online with up to six others, and the game supports cross-platform features. Lastly, the game features a massive modding community and it is supported across all consoles, so even PlayStation players can mod their Farming Simulator 22 experience.
Weird West – PlayStation 4/5
Weird West is a top-down action RPG that takes players to an alternate Wild West where gunslingers face off against not just each other, but monsters that roam the world.
The game has a unique story narrative, following five separate heroes throughout the frontier. The characters have their own exquisite backgrounds and the choices they make affect the world around them.

The PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for October will be available from Tuesday, October 3 until Monday, November 6, 2023.
