Palworld boss with the wanted status over her

Palworld: How to Remove Wanted Status

Players who’ve committed a crime in Palworld will get a wanted status, and the PIDF will chase after them. Fortunately, there are a few ways to get rid of it.

You may not have been expecting there to be illegal activities and a police system in Palworld, but here we are. From stealing goods to taking hostages, Palworld has no shortage of crimes. There are so many, in fact, that you can even find Black Marketeers to make money from it. Unfortunately, if you get caught committing a crime, you’ll get a wanted status. This means that the PIDF will hunt you down, with the only form of justice being your head on a silver platter. Luckily, there are a few ways to remove this wanted status and get back to committing crimes.

How to Remove the Wanted Status in Palworld

There are 4 main ways to remove your wanted status and stop the PIDF from chasing you in Palworld. They are:

  • Kill the PIDF chasing you – You can remove your wanted status by killing the PIDF that is chasing you. The best way to do this is to lure them back to your base, where your Pals can help you fight them. Alternatively, lure them towards a boss Pal, as these can get easily enraged and will likely outlevel the PIDF.
  • Run away – Running away from the PIDF is tough, as they’ll chase you for seemingly forever, but it isn’t impossible. If you manage to run away for long enough, eventually, your wanted status will disappear, and they’ll give up the hunt.
  • Die – Dying removes your wanted status completely but obviously results in you dropping all of your stuff. If you’re planning on using this method, run towards a fast travel point and then let the PIDF kill you.
  • Kill any witnesses – If you successfully kill anyone who was around when you committed a crime, the PIDF won’t spawn. This essentially means you won’t get a wanted status in the first place.
