There are several intimidating bosses in No Rest for the Wicked’s Early Access release. Here’s where to find them and the loot you can get from defeating them!
As an action RPG with extremely punishing Soulslike combat, bosses in No Rest for the Wicked pack a mean punch. Boss encounters are big, theatrical affairs that require quick reaction times and a healthy dose of patience. Even regular mob enemies can pose a significant threat in No Rest for the Wicked; bosses will undoubtedly reduce your life expectancy by a wider margin. Thankfully, all those countless deaths are more than worth the effort, as you’ll get some sweet loot and essential upgrade materials for your trouble.
All Bosses, Locations & Loot in No Rest for the Wicked
In No Rest for the Wicked’s Early Access release, there are currently three main story bosses to defeat, one hidden boss that’s part of the Cerim Crucible endgame dungeon, and a series of randomly generated mini-bosses you can encounter while out exploring and completing Weekly Bounties. Each of these bosses grants randomized loot as well as one Plague Ichor required to upgrade your weapon and inventory slots. For more detail, check out the table below that outlines each boss:
Boss | Location | Loot & Rewards |
---|---|---|
Warrick the Torn | In Orban Glades, just outside Sacrament’s main gate. You will encounter him at the end of the Prologue. | XP, Plague Ichor Corpse, Smeared Blade, Random loot |
Falstead Darak (first meeting) | In Orban Glades, just outside Sacrament’s main gate. You will encounter him at the end of the Prologue. | XP, No loot as Falstead Darak escapes |
Falstead Darak (second meeting) | In Orban Glades, just outside Sacrament’s main gate. You will encounter him at the end of the Prologue. | XP, Plague Ichor, Sacrament Guardian Pants, Random loot |
The Riven Twins | At the end of The Nameless Pass. You need to initiate the Servant of God quest to fight them. | XP, Plague Ichor, Lacquered Bow |
Echo Knight | In Mariner’s Keep in the Western area of Orban Glades. You need to initiate the Of Rats and Raiders quest to fight him. | XP, Plague Ichor, High-level random loot |
Mini-Bosses | You can encounter mini-bosses by either stumbling upon them in the open world or by taking on specific Weekly Bounties from Captain Ralph, located near the primary Cerim Whisper in Sacrament. | XP, Plague Ichor, Random loot |
Although most of the loot drops from bosses are random, there is a higher chance that you will receive legendary-tiered weapons and gear from them than when defeating regular enemies. They are also the only way to collect the rare Plague Ichor consumables needed to upgrade your inventory slots. That’s all for now on all bosses in No Rest for the Wicked!
