miHoYo has announced a limited-time Genshin Impact cross-over with Horizon Zero Dawn from Version 2.1 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, and mobile.Â
After a successful launch of its first massive content expansion, Genshin Impact has shocked fans by announcing a collaboration with Guerrilla’s Horizon Zero Dawn. From Version 2.1, Aloy, the legendary main protagonist, will join the character roster as a free five-star character. However, players on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, Android, and iOS will need to act quick as she is only available for a limited time.
How to Obtain Aloy in Genshin Impact
Aloy, the saviour of Earth in Horizon Zero Dawn, brings her extraordinary archery abilities to Genshin Impact. She has also acquired a Cryo Vision in this world, so now she can wield incredible elemental power in combat and exploration.
Aloy will be completely free for all Genshin Impact players, with exclusive early access for PlayStation players. In Version 2.1, PlayStation players who have reached Adventure Rank 20 or above can receive Aloy via in-game mail after logging in. For those who are playing on another platform, you will have to wait until Version 2.2. PlayStation players will also receive an exclusive free four-star Bow that gives Aloy a special buff. This can be obtained during Version 2.1 and Version 2.2 for players who reached Adventure Rank 20 or above.
There are still more details to come on when we can expect the collaboration. However, Version 2.1 is expected to launch on September 1st.
Genshin Impact has recently released Version 2.0: The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia. This update will take players to the brand-new Inazuma region, located across the sea. The Electro Archon rules the new area and boasts new cultures, creatures, and mysteries.
