Players can access Call of Duty: MW3’s Multiplayer mode right now on all platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Here’s how to do it.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is right around the corner, and fans are eager to get their hands on the Multiplayer mode. While the campaign was a little disappointing to some, many still hope that the Multiplayer mode will be the game’s saving grace. Fortunately, you can try it out for yourself right now if you’ve pre-ordered the game. Below, we explain how to access the MW3 Multiplayer mode early on all platforms.

How to Play MW3 Multiplayer Early On PC, Xbox & PlayStation

To play Call of Duty: MW3 Multiplayer mode early, you have to open up the game and go into the offline mode. Once you’re in, just head to the Local Multiplayer mode, and you can play the game against bots. You can enter the offline mode by either turning off your internet entirely and then starting MW3 or by backing out when prompted to sign in. This method works on all platforms, including Xbox, PC, and PlayStation. Below, we’ve given step-by-step instructions on how to play the game early:

  • Disconnect your platform from the internet
  • Boot up MW3
  • When prompted, select Go Offline
  • Choose Local Multiplayer
  • Start a match

Unfortunately, there is no way to play the Multiplayer mode online early without the New Zealand trick. You can only play it offline against bots. Additionally, you must have the most recent update for MW3 installed for this to work. If you do not, you will only be able to access the Campaign mode for MW3.

It is also important to note that when we tested this, we received an error message that informed us it would reset our rank and unlocks if we continued. While this isn’t guaranteed to happen to all players, it’s worth mentioning.
