How to Play Call of Duty: MW3 Offline

Players looking to experience the Call of Duty: MW3 Multiplayer mode offline can do so easily with these simple steps.

Call of Duty: MW3 lets players enjoy a small selection of Multiplayer maps, as well as the Campaign mode offline. However, it may not be immediately clear to many how they actually play the game offline, especially if you’re on console. Fortunately, the solution is incredibly simple. So, if you were hoping to try out the Multiplayer mode against bots or play the Campaign without worrying about taxing your internet connection, we’ve got you covered.

How to Play Call of Duty: MW3 Offline

To play Call of Duty: MW3 offline, you must first completely disconnect either your PC or console from the internet. Then, boot up MW3 and select the Go Offline option when prompted. Once you’ve done that, simply choose the Local Multiplayer or Campaign mode in the MW3 main menu to start playing. Here’s a full breakdown of how to play the latest COD offline:

  1. Disconnect your PC or console from the internet
    • On console, this is done through the Network options in settings. However, you can also simply unplug your router.

  1. Start MW3.
  2. You’ll get an error message with the option to either Retry or Go Offline.
  3. Select Go Offline.
  4. You’ll now be able to access all of MW3’s offline modes

It’s worth mentioning that we experienced an error message that we would have to reset our rank and unlocks to continue playing offline.
