How Long to Beat Sand Land

Sand Land is a fairly long game, offering fans of the manga or just Akira Toriyama enthusiasts a lengthy action-packed adventure.

Despite the original Sand Land manga only lasting 13 chapters and one epilogue chapter across a single volume, the video game adaptation is pretty long. This is because it’s adding a lot of new content, much of which will be explored in the second season of the anime. Of course, this is great news for those who were hoping to spend a lot of time in the colorful world of Sand Land. Below, we explain exactly how long you’ll be playing Sand Land for.

How Long Is Sand Land?

It will take players 25 hours to complete Sand Land’s main story and see the end credits roll. Completing everything the game offers, including all of its side quests, will take players 40 hours. There are quite a lot of main missions in the game, and with some missions taking upwards of an hour to complete, there’s a fair amount of content available. Of course, your mileage may vary depending on how much of its vast environments you wish to explore and how easy you find the combat.

This is based on our own playthrough, as well as that of other reviewers. It took us around 30 hours to complete the game’s main story, as well as a handful of side quests. However, we can definitely see how some players might breeze through the story a little quicker. Fortunately, regardless of how long you spend delving into Sand Land’s world and side content, the main story is accessible to everyone.

Sand Land Environment

If you’re not sure whether you should invest so much time into the main game, you can always try out the game’s demo. It offers a fair amount of content, including exploring some of the open locations. That’s everything you need to know about Sand Land’s runtime.
