Helldivers 2 is getting frequent updates introducing new features, stratagems, and Warbonds. But when can players expect the next one to arrive?
Helldivers 2 is a live service game, and as such, players can expect a range of free updates across its lifetime. These can include anything from minor bug fixes to brand-new stratagems like the Exosuits. Unfortunately, it can be hard to tell when these updates are supposed to drop. Fortunately, we’ve broken down exactly when you can expect Helldivers 2’s next update.
When Is the Next Helldivers 2 Update?
The next major Helldivers 2 update will be on Thursday, April 11, 2024. This will coincide with the launch of the next Warbond. Players can expect a new Helldivers 2 update on the second Thursday of every month. That means the next few updates will occur on the following days:

This is according to the official Helldivers 2 discord, which hosted an FAQ around Warbonds. In the FAQ, Arrowhead Game Studio said that “Warbonds will be released every second Thursday of the month. Every time a new Warbond is released, you will be able to preview the content, and the Warbonds will never disappear, so you can purchase them or not whenever you want to.”
Of course, this doesn’t account for smaller updates and patches, which will happen intermittently. There is no way of gauging when these will happen, as they’re usually rolled out sporadically in order to address issues with the game.
Additionally, as there is currently no roadmap for Helldivers 2, there’s no way of pinpointing when new features will arrive. Typically, they’re teased before being officially implemented, such as with the Recon Vehicles and Exosuits. According to a post by CEO Johan Pilestedt, the original roadmap is “very out of date in comparison to what we now want to do.” So, it’s possible a new one will be released shortly.
