Creepy Jar has recently announced the console debut of their critically acclaimed, hyper-realistic survival game, Green Hell, which is coming next month.

What is Green Hell?
Green Hell is a darkly sinister survival game set deep in the uncharted regions of the Amazon rainforest. The game was released in Early Access for PC back in August 2018 and launched a year later, in September 2019. Since then, it’s seen over 1.5 million players worldwide and received countless improvements along the way.
What began as a survival game that challenged players to manage everything from their food and water intake to their levels of sanity, over time has grown into a fully robust game and a deep experience.
Creepy Jar has remained committed to building upon Green Hell to create a masterpiece of a game. After listening to their player base, the game has seen the addition of the compelling and mysterious Story Mode, which sees players aid a remote Amazonian tribe, plus a much-requested co-op mode that allows for up to 4 players to tackle challenges together.
The developers are intent on continuing to improve the experience of their game, which brings us to their newest announcement. Green Hell is finally releasing on consoles.
What to Expect
Key features of the console game include:
- Resource management, base building, crafting, hunting, wound inspection, and sanity management are just a few of the elements you’ll have to monitor as you attempt to survive in this hospitable environment. This unique array of components makes Green Hell a complex and intensely enjoyable game.
- Following the mysterious narrative in-game, you’ll seek to find out how exactly you ended up in the Amazon. You’ll also search for your love, Mia, whilst trying to find a way to escape and to survive.
- Co-op mode continues on the console release, allowing for up to 4 players to tackle challenges together. Enjoy pulling leeches from your friends’ nether parts in both Story Mode and Endless Mode – oodles of fun!
- Many other features are included in Green Hell, from custom modes to achievement chasing. Have fun tackling unique challenges, or build the best jungle hut south of the equator. Whatever the case, the game continues to grow with each update from the Creepy Jar team.
Green Hell – The Important Bits
Creepy Jar is thrilled to announce the release date of their beloved survival game on June 9. Put the date in your calendars, folks, as Green Hell makes its way onto Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The game will be released as a digital copy for $24.99/€24.99 and will feature all the content included in the PC version, as well as the upcoming expansion, Spirits of Amazonia, for free at a later date.
