Capcom’s anticipated remaster of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, the classic puzzle adventure is available now for players to experience.
The game was first released on the Nintendo DS and iOS back in 2010. Although it was not a smash hit at the time, it soon became a gem among gamers down the road. The game recently had a resurgence when Capcom revealed during the February 2023 Nintendo Direct that they were remastering the title. Now, players can experience a fresh take on the game or a first-time run to remember.
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is a puzzle-solving adventure in which players are tasked with finding out who murdered their character Sissel. As a spirit, Sissel has unique abilities that will assist him in his investigation of unraveling his own demise.
Furthermore, players make decisions to change the fates of people still in the living world and they can assist Sissel in his story of uncovering what happened, as well as help him to regain his lost memory.
Players can look to elements when playing such as:
Improved Graphics: The game has less pixelated visuals and gives players a stunning, modern 1080/60fps graphics mode.
Trophies And New Challenges: Trophy support is a new part of the game and allows players to achieve new trophies and/or achievements. Ghost puzzles are now available in 3×3 to 5×5 modes to give players a fresh challenge.
Updated Musical Soundtrack: A remastered 1-to-1 soundtrack of the original game, with music done by Yasumasa Kitagawa, the composer for The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles.
Nine Languages: New language packs of Korean, Simplified, and Traditional Chinese are now a part of the game. Adding to the English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Japanese in the base game.
