The first trailer for GTA 6 will drop on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 9 am ET/6 am PT/2 pm GMT/1 am AEDT (December 6). This was confirmed via the official Rockstar Games X account (formerly Twitter). The post, which features the date and time of the event, also has a sunset background with palm trees. This likely indicates that the rumors of the game’s setting being in Miami are indeed true.
Some fans may be surprised that the trailer isn’t debuting during the 2023 Game Awards. The event is happening just 2 days later on December 7. While many had expected it to drop as a huge reveal in between awards, it would appear that the trailer will be released separately.
