Enshrouded: Is It Coming to Xbox?

Xbox fans are hoping that the incredibly popular survival open-world game Enshrouded will be coming to Xbox soon. Here’s what you need to know.

Enshrouded launched into Early Access in January to critical acclaim. While PC players have enjoyed it for some time now, Xbox fans are equally as eager to try it out. Fortunately, Xbox allows Early Access titles to launch on it as Previews. So, it’s only natural then that Xbox players have begun wondering if Enshrouded will receive the same treatment. While some players may be disappointed by the answer, rest assured that Xbox players will eventually get their hands on it.

Is Enshrouded on Xbox?

No, Enshrouded is not currently available on Xbox. It is exclusive to Steam at the moment as it is still in Early Access. However, it will eventually come to Xbox. According to the developer, Keen Games, while the intention was always to release on PC first, there are plans to bring it to Xbox and PlayStation 5 “eventually.” This was stated clearly on their FAQ page. They said, “The game will be released in Steam Early Access first. We will eventually bring the game to other platforms (namely, PlayStation 5 and Xbox X|S) and storefronts, after completion.”

Unlike games such as Palworld, which was released into Early Access on both PC and Xbox, Enshrouded has been released exclusively to PC. This was a decision made by the developers, as opposed to being locked into an exclusivity contract, likely to avoid spending development time on porting at such an early stage.

Enshrouded Xbox Release Date

Enshrouded will be coming to Xbox after the Early Access period ends on PC. Unfortunately, outside of this, there is currently no exact release date for it on Xbox. The only information we have is that the developer stated an Xbox version of the game will be launching after the game’s “completion.”
