Fans are eagerly anticipating the launch of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, with many hoping to play the game early through an early access pre-order bonus.
While many modern games offer players the ability to play it early through pre-order bonuses, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a little different. Players may be a little disappointed when they’ll actually be able to get their hands on the game.
Can You Play Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Early?
No, you cannot play Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 early, as no version of it gives players early access. None of the pre-order editions include an early access bonus like other games, such as the Call of Duty series.
This means that all players, regardless of whether or not they pre-order the game, can only access the game from October 20, 2023. Of course, pre-ordering any edition means you can pre-load the game early, allowing you to start playing as soon as it releases.
It is worth noting that neither Marvel’s Spider-Man nor Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales had early access bonuses in their pre-order editions. Players could only start those games on launch day.
However, if you pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, you do unlock 5 unique suits for Peter and 5 unique suits for Miles earlier than people who purchase the regular edition. These suits are unlockable without purchasing the Digital Deluxe Edition.
No PlayStation-exclusive single-player title, like Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, has given players early access as part of a pre-order bonus. As a result, players shouldn’t expect an early access bonus to be added before the launch of Spider-Man 2.
