Fast-Paced Strategy Game, Death Crown, Now Available On Consoles!

Death Crown, developed by CO5MONAUT and Stas Pisarev, is a fast-paced, real-time strategy game and is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Death Crown launched onto Steam back in August of 2019 and received critical acclaim over there, garnering 88% positive reviews. Today, it is launching for consoles and has been retooled to work for those platforms. Death Crown is a unique strategy game with a focus on speed and concentration. Rounds won’t last very long in Death Crown, and when you’re up against relentless AI, every move you make will be the difference between life and death. The console version comes with an adjusted control system and the two DLCs, Era of Human and Demonic Menace.

What Is Death Crown?

Death Crown is an incredibly unique strategy game both visually and mechanically. Its visual style is apparently inspired by games developed for the Apple II computers way back in the ’80s. It also blends medieval engravings with this retro aesthetic, which creates something stylistically original. Death Crown’s fast-paced gameplay is set to flip strategy games on their head, focusing on having the player act as quickly as possible in the heat of the moment. Players will be tasked with destroying the enemy’s fortress by utilizing troops and towers. There’s a lot more to Death Crown’s gameplay, so I’ve compiled a list to break it all down:

  • Enjoy the three campaigns on offer that put the player in charge of either the dead, humans, or demons set across 90 maps
  • Fight 12 bosses, each with their own unique mechanic
  • Construct buildings to help gather resources, troops to take the fight to your enemy, and towers to defend your own territory
  • If you fancy a challenge, there’s the “Domination Mode,” which is made up of 30 “hellish” missions that must be completed with only three lives
  • Play campaigns cooperatively or fight against friends in a local co-op mode
