Remnant 2 Archetypes provide players with different classes that fundamentally change how the game is played, but people want to know if you can have two equipped at the same time.
There are many Archetypes in the game, with new choices being discovered the longer the game is out. So, it only seems natural that players will want to use more than one.
Can Multiple Archetypes Be Used in Remnant 2?
Those looking to know if another class can be equipped will be able to breathe easily, as a second archetype can indeed be added.
However, tt does come with a couple of caveats. Once you’ve chosen your main class, after finishing the tutorial, any other Archetypes that you wish to equip as secondary will require an item that must be located in order to unlock them.
For example, to unlock the Hunter class as a secondary, an item must be obtained. Players must purchase the War Medal from Brabus, at the firing range in Ward 13. Doing so will allow the Hunter Archetype to be equipped as a secondary in Remnant 2.
The other important factor to note is that you don’t receive the benefits of the secondary archetype’s prime perk. Meaning if you are a Medic and you wish to also have the prime perk of the Gunslinger, you will only gain the other perks from it. Therefore lots of experimenting is to be done with the classes to make sure you find a setup that suits you best.
Remnant 2 is out now for Ultimate Edition owners, and will officially release on July 25, 2023. The game is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
