Mw3 Soldiers

Larger Modes Are Returning

Fans of the bigger style matches will be happy to hear that they are returning in MW3, along with the return of a Call of Duty classic. Invasion, the large-scale Team Deathmatch mode, is making its return, along with Ground War, a large-scale domination mode. Lastly, War, a mode last seen in Call of Duty: WW2, is making a comeback in Modern Warfare 3.

MW3 Multiplayer Mechanic Changes

There will be plenty of returning features from previous games implemented in Modern Warfare 3. Here is everything you can expect:

  • Tac-Stance: Players tilt the gun sideways to sacrifice precision for mobility and handling. It can be toggled within matches.
  • New Loadout Items: Loadouts will have the ability to include gloves, tactical vests, and more.
  • After-Market Parts: A new customization option for weapons. Players can use these parts to change their gameplay styles with their weapons, such as turning a machine gun into a bullpup-style.
  • Map Voting: Players will be able to vote on which map to play next, a feature that was absent in Modern Warfare 2.
  • Minimap: The classic minimap system is coming back; red player dots will be visible on the radar if an unsuppressed weapon is fired.
  • Perks: All perks will be activated at the start of a match. Instead of them being slowly activated throughout the match like in Modern Warfare 2.
  • Player Health: The player’s health pool has increased to 150 allowing for a longer time-to-kill.

Movement in MW3

Big changes to player movement are coming to MW3 multiplayer. Players can look forward to different maneuverability changes like:

  • Action Canceling: This means slide canceling and reload canceling are returning to MW3.
  • Mantling: Faster mantling is present in the new game, allowing combat encounters to be quicker.
  • Tactical Sprint: The duration of a tactical sprint is increasing in MW3, and can recharge while players are in a regular sprinting movement.

Carry Forward

Players who are worried about all of their hard-earned cosmetics not being useful anymore don’t need to worry, as a system known as “carry forward” is being implemented. More information on the carry-forward system can be found here.
