The most recent weapon balance changes in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 weren’t enough to knock the HRM-9 from the top of the meta.
With some stiff competition in the SMG category, we need to ensure the HRM-9 loadout is optimized to beat them out. Our build looks to re-coup the range lost in the nerfs, as well as drastically boost stability, weapon handling, and mobility, making this an incredibly well-rounded SMG for Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2.

What Does Each Attachment Do For The HRM-9 in Warzone Season 2?
The first attachment in our loadout is the Princeps Long Barrel, which significantly extends the HRM-9’s damage range and bullet velocity, making it a threat even in mid-range combat. It also comes with a nice reduction in aiming idle sway, ensuring your shots remain on target to help achieve a more consistent time to kill (TTK).
We’ve attached both the ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider Muzzle and Folding Stock to further boost your control over the HRM-9. These attachments enhance firing aim stability, refine horizontal and vertical recoil, improve overall recoil, and boost gun-kick control. This muzzle also shortens radar pings, meaning you’re harder for enemies to find, perfect for executing strategic flanks.
The DR-6 Handstop Underbarrel is what ties this balanced build together. It buffs overall movement speed, Aim Down Sight (ADS) speed, aim-walking speed, and sprint-to-fire speed. This attachment ensures the HRM-9 is not just lethal but adaptable, allowing players to retreat when caught off guard or push aggressively.
Speaking of aggressive gameplay, you’ll need a magazine big enough to support you, which is why our last attachment is the 50-Round Drum. This mag will allow you to take down multiple enemies in a single clip, an absolutely essential edge to have in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 due to its unpredictable nature.
