The developer and publisher behind the Jurassic World Evolution park management sims, Frontier Developments, is creating a new Jurassic World game.
Frontier Developments has an abundance of fun, creative management simulation games that have become many players’ favorites. From Planet Zoo to the Jurassic Evolution games, Frontier Developments knows what it takes to create great management simulation games. Fortunately, for dino fans everywhere, it doesn’t look like it’s done with the Jurassic World franchise.
When Is The New Jurassic World Game Coming Out?
Frontier Developments’ next Jurassic World game is expected to be released between June 1, 2025, and May 31, 2026. The upcoming game could be released alongside the new Jurassic World film, which is scheduled for a July 2, 2025 release. If this is true, fans won’t have long to wait. Of course, we won’t know for sure until more information on its launch date is announced.
It should be noted that this new game has only been referred to as a third Jurassic World game and not a third Jurassic World Evolution game or Jurassic World Evolution 3. Although it is entirely likely that it will be the next installment to its beloved series, Frontier Developments could be branching out into a new genre with its next go with the franchise. For now, fans will need to be patient to see what exactly is in store for them.
Frontier Developments Plan
Frontier Developments has announced that it signed a deal with Universal. It is also planning to release one new creative management simulation each year over the next three consecutive financial years. This also includes a creative management simulation from their own IP that will be announced soon. That is scheduled for the 2025 financial year. Of course, with the Jurassic World Evolution games being such a smash hit, it makes sense that Frontier Developments would continue making more dino-themed games.
In fact, Jonny Watts, the CEO of Frontier Development, spoke about this in a press release. He said, “We are delighted to reveal that we are developing a third Jurassic World game to extend our collaborative relationship with Universal Products & Experiences for our best-selling game franchise. […] I very much look forward to providing more information on our exciting plans for the franchise in the future.”
