Nexon Games has decided to give all players the once-exclusive Beta rewards in The First Descendant. Here’s how to claim them.
Players who participated in The First Descendant Betas were granted exclusive rewards, including emotes and cosmetics. However, these once-exclusive rewards are now being given to all. Below, we explain why the Beta rewards are being distributed to all players and how you can claim them if you haven’t already.
The First Descendant Beta Rewards Granted to All
Nexon Games has confirmed that all of the rewards earned by playing the Beta will be given to every player, regardless of whether they participated in the Betas or not. This is due to the game’s rocky launch, which has seen its Steam page sit at Mixed. At the time of writing, only just over 50% of its reviews on the platform are positive. On its website, Nexon Games said, “Due to various issues after the launch, we were unable to provide a stable service, and we feel deeply regretful. As a sincere apology, we have decided to expand the rewards for everyone.”
The Beta rewards now going to all players are the following:
- High Five emote – From the October 2022 Steam Beta Test
- 2 Frost Walker Hunter titles – From the October 2022 Steam Beta Test
- Send Heart emote – From the September 2023 Beta Test
- Bear Cub back attachment – From the September 2023 Beta Test
- Passion spawn effect – From the September 2023 Beta Test
- “Trendsetter” Bunny head skin – From the September 2023 Beta Test
How to Claim the Beta Rewards in The First Descendant
To claim the Beta rewards in The First Descendant, you need to log in and then head to your Mailbox in Albion. You will receive a message from Nexon Games letting you claim the rewards. It’s as simple as that. Fortunately, you don’t have to jump through hoops to get these compensatory rewards. All of the rewards will then immediately be added to your account, allowing you to access them instantly.
