Players will need to snap some pictures in Zenless Zone Zero in order to complete quests. Fortunately, whipping out and using your camera isn’t too difficult.
Taking pictures in HoYoverse games is pretty much a given at this point. It typically plays a big role in completing certain side objectives, and is also just a fun way to appreciate the gorgeous scenery its games have. Zenless Zone Zero, it’s latest game, is absolutely no different. However, this time taking pictures is a little more complicated. Fortunately, we’ve broken it down for you below.
How to Take Photos in Zenless Zone Zero
To take photos in Zenless Zone Zero, you must first unlock the Camera by progressing through Chapter One. Then, you’ll need to open the quick-access menu and equip the Camera by selecting the second icon from the left that looks like a circle. Once you’ve activated the camera, frame your shot and press the circle icon on the right hand. It’s a fairly easy process, one that’s broken down for you once you get access to the camera. However, we’ve broken it down even more into simple steps for you to follow:
- Open the quick-access menu
- On PC – Hold F
- On Xbox – Hold A
- On PlayStation – Hold X
- Select the Camera icon (it resembles a circle and is the second option from the left)
- On PC, simply hover over it and left-click. On consoles, use the joystick to select it and then press A/X.
- Wait for the animation to play
- Frame up your shot by moving around or using the Zoom function
- Select the circle icon on the right-hand side to take the picture
- On console just press A/X when you’re ready
The camera is unlocked officially once you reach the section in Chapter One when you meet a cat with your sibling behind the Arcade. You’ll be asked to take a picture of it, which prompts the camera tutorial to begin. The camera has several functions in Zenless Zone Zero which you can use to get better pictures. They are:
- Zoom – Press RT/LT (console) or click the plus and minus symbol at the bottom to zoom the image in and out.
- Reset – Press RS/R3 or click the button on the bottom left to reset the camera to its original position
- Hide UI – Press Y/Triangle or click the button on the bottom right to hide the camera UI
