You’ll need Standard Parts in Once Human to craft some higher-tier items. Fortunately, getting your hands on them is fairly straightforward.
There are so many different materials in Once Human, but one you’ll need fairly early on is Standard Parts. However, while its entry encourages you to find it while exploring, you may be a little lost as to exactly where you should look. Fortunately, we’ve broken down exactly how to get Standard Parts in Once Human, so you don’t have to look anymore.
How to Get Standard Parts in Once Human
To get Standard Parts, you will need to disassemble items located in higher-level areas, specifically areas between levels 10 and 20, at your Disassembly Station. However, you’ll have the best luck locating Standard Parts when you reach areas including Broken Delta and Iron River. You should disassemble any junk that you find while exploring strongholds and buildings scattered across the open world. It is relatively light in your inventory and will net you plenty of Standard Parts when disassembled.
Of course, we recommend you move your base from the starting area into the second area once you’re ready to hunt Standard Parts. While it isn’t necessary, it will make traveling back and forth significantly easier and quicker. Additionally, you should use your Spacetime ability by pressing Q to reveal nearby objects. This will speed up the process of locating junk while you explore, allowing you to gather a lot of it before heading back to your Disassembly Station.

However, the important thing to remember is you’ll need to head to higher-level locations in order to get junk good enough to be turned into Standard Parts. If you try and grind the lower-level areas, you’ll only get Rusted Parts. You can also hover any POIs to reveal what you’ll find when exploring it. This will help you pick where you want to explore next when searching for Standard parts. That’s everything you need to know about Standard Parts in Once Human.
