Since Destiny has been around, players have been encountering the character named Xûr. The mysterious being provides various goods by being a vendor in both Destiny and Destiny 2. The eternal being tends to hop around the solar system, and players need to search for him to purchase items. However, with the addition of The Final Shape, Xûr has moved again, and this time, his location is a big change. Below, we have you covered where Xûr is and the change brought to him.
Where Is Xûr Located in Destiny 2: The Final Shape?
Xûr is now located at the Tower, more specifically on the right side in the Bazaar area. Furthermore, he is exclusively going to be popping up there from now on. The details are officially confirmed by Bungie on the most recent This Week in Destiny. However, Xûr is not going to be available to purchase items all the time. Both Xûr and his vendor are only going to be around at the Tower from Friday to Tuesday, as per his usual schedule.
The great news, though, is that players no longer need to go searching across the solar system for him. The change is great to see, as it helps to consolidate more of the Destiny 2 vendors into one place. While there are still other vendors on different planets, players can grab most of their bounties and much-needed items all just from the tower.
What Does Xûr Offer in Destiny 2: The Final Shape?
Xûr provides different exotic weapons, armor, miscellaneous gifts, and much more. The items rotate each week that he appears, with random stat rolls on both the exotic and legendary armor that is for sale. Each week, players can also buy different wildcard items that can range from mediocre to incredibly valuable. However, they can only be purchased once a week and are completely randomized. Furthermore, Xûr sells Strange Gifts for one Strange Coin, and they offer low-value items.
All of Xûr’s stock requires the currency Strange Coins, something that was absent for a while but has made a return. Completing various activities can help to earn the currency. If you are looking to obtain some, it is recommended that you complete either Vanguard, Crucible, Trials, Iron Banner, Gambit, or Onslaught opportunities. All of those provide chances to earn them, so be sure to get up to any of those activities when you have time.
