The campaigns for Destiny 2 have always varied in length. Usually, though, they take players a few hours to progress. Destiny 2: The Final Shape follows the same trend as its predecessors by offering several missions to complete while also earning the new Prismatic subclass in the process. Players may be curious to know how many missions they have to complete before the new Raid releases on Friday, June 7, 2024. Fortunately, we have compiled a list of all of the campaign missions in the game, so you know how long you have to go.

All Campaign Missions in Destiny 2: The Final Shape
There are eight missions for players to complete in order to finish the campaign of Destiny 2: The Final Shape. However, one of the missions is unavailable and will not unlock until after the World’s First completion of the Salvation’s Edge Raid. Therefore, players have seven current missions, and the eighth will be made available later. Locking a mission behind a Raid requirement is new for Destiny 2. Bungie has not added something like this before, so it is interesting to see its inclusion occur now. Below are all of the campaign missions within Destiny 2: The Final Shape:
- Transmigration
- Temptation
- Exegesis
- Requiem
- Ascent
- Dissent
- Iconoclasm
- N/A (Mission will become available after World’s First completion of Salvation’s Edge Raid)
Although the campaign having eight missions may seem short, they are lengthy missions. Even more so if you play on a higher difficulty or by yourself. In the past, both Lightfall and The Witch Queen also featured an eight-mission structure. All in all, players are looking at around six to ten hours of playtime with variations, of course.

Players have plenty of content to explore throughout the game outside of the campaign missions. There are various Exotic Quests to experience, and the inclusion of the new class items when the newest activity releases. Additionally, we do not know how long the last campaign mission is going to take, and that only adds more playtime for players invested in the narrative.
That is everything to know about all of the campaign missions in Destiny 2: The Final Shape. Of course, once we know more about the final mission, we will be sure to update you.
