Animal Well has players trek across a dark labyrinth as they search for a way out. As you begin your quest, you will come across various items to unlock. Some are tucked out of the way and require some traveling to find them. The Bouncy Ball is one such unique item, but, fortunately, it isn’t too challenging to find.
How to Unlock the Bouncy Ball in Animal Well
To unlock the Bouncy Ball, players must head to a secret room on the left side of the bat chamber in the northwestern area of the map. However, before heading there, players need to have Firecrackers. When you have this item, you must use them on three separate Kangaroos within the map. Luckily, there are five Kangaroo spawns, although only one appears each time. The reason why you do this is so you can collect the three K Shards they drop. Once you’ve collected all three, they combine to become a K Medal. The medal is needed to access the secret area where the Bouncy Ball is housed.
Once you have the three shards and the K Medal is formed, it is best to backtrack to the left-most Telephone Save. It is located in the long water room. To the right of it is a ladder which you should descend. Once in the next area, go to the right and drop down the various platforms. Head back to the left, skip the ladder in this room, and jump upwards. Platform up in the next room and ascend the ladder, and you will be in the room just outside the K Medal pedestal. Climb up to the left and land in the room; at the far left is the pedestal. Place the K Medal into it to unlock a secret door. Equip the Bubble Wand and use it to get to the new pathway. In the next room, drop down. On a platform in the middle is a chest with the Bouncy Ball.
What Is the Bouncy Ball Used For in Animal Well?
The Bouncy Ball allows players to damage and break various environmental hazards like earthen spikes and stalactites. Furthermore, players can use it to distract dogs and otters. Players should note that the Bouncy Ball will disappear if it leaves the room, so make sure to grab it.
The Bouncy Ball is a great item. Its distraction purpose is great because it will save you from all kinds of dangers. However, it truly shines when destroying spikes. These will often block secret areas, and the bouncy ball destroys them quickly, allowing you to gain access to more areas that house various other things, like items.
