The release date window of the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 has been officially narrowed down to fall 2025.
Those eagerly waiting for more information on Grand Theft Auto 6 will be happy to know that the holding company that owns Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, has confirmed the release window for Grand Theft Auto 6. Players can now get excited for next year, as it will feature one of the most anticipated games in history.
GTA 6 Release Date Confirmed
In the publisher’s Take-Two Interactive 2024 year-end financial report, they confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected to be released in the fall of 2025. Unfortunately, this did not include a specific release date. However, there has been some recent controversy regarding Take-Two, as they laid off staff and axed games in development. This seems to have not hindered Grand Theft Auto 6’s development.
The Grand Theft Auto series has been a hit since day one. Due to this, everyone has high expectations for Grand Theft Auto 6. Of course, both players and GTA 6’s development team are excited and full of all kinds of expectations. As Strauss Zelnick, Chairman and CEO of Take-Two, said: “Our outlook reflects a narrowing of Rockstar Games’ previously established window of Calendar 2025 to Fall of Calendar 2025 for Grand Theft Auto VI. We are highly confident that Rockstar Games will deliver an unparalleled entertainment experience, and our expectations for the commercial impact of the title continue to increase.”

Is Grand Theft Auto 6 Coming To PC?
In Take-Two Interactive’s 2024 year-end financial report, there was no mention of Grand Theft Auto 6 coming to PC. No further information about a PC release has been confirmed. It looks like those who want to experience Grand Theft Auto 6 via Steam or another PC platform will need to continue to be patient. It is likely Grand Theft Auto 6 will come to PC some time after its release on console.
