Sega has declared that 2024 is the year of Shadow the Hedgehog, with a game and multiple collaborations scheduled throughout the year.
Fearless: Year of Shadow is the latest campaign by Sega that aims to celebrate the amazing fans of Sonic and Shadow. Sonic x Shadow Generations is an upcoming game that will star the dark hedgehog and is built around the original Sonic Generations game. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie will also feature Shadow later this year. However, there are further celebrations that will feature Shadow coming this year. You can also view the trailer below.
Fearless: Year of Shadow Celebrations
The Fearless: Year of Shadow will feature countless collaborations throughout 2024, including:
- Motorcycle Tour: A custom-built Shadow-inspired motorcycle will appear in games such as MotoGP and more. Shadow’s motorcycle will be on display at the MotoGP Fan Zone this weekend in Austin, TX, and in the UK this August.
- Shadow X Sonic Generations: In the remastered version of Sonic Generations, you can play as Shadow the Hedgehog in a brand-new story campaign and tackle iconic 2D and 3D stages.
- Mobile Game Events: Fearless mobile events are coming to Sonic Forces and Sonic Dash, where you can unlock powerful Shadow variants, including Super Shadow, Vampire Shadow, Sir Lancelot, and Dragon Hunter Lancelot.
- Shadow the Hedgehog LEGO
- Sonic Symphony World Tour: Experience the magic of Sonic’s greatest moments on the big screen with a rock band and live symphony orchestra.
