Who Is the Twitch Streamer Sketch?

Sketch is a popular Twitch streamer who started back in 2023. Since then, he has amassed an impressive 663.9K followers on Twitch and 576k followers on Instagram. He also has a YouTube channel with 289K subscribers, where he uploads highlights from his Twitch streams as well as some original content.

Despite only starting a few months ago, Sketch has collaborated with a number of the biggest creators on Twitch, including Jynxzi. He predominantly plays Rainbow Six Seige and Madden NFL, but you’ll also catch him doing Just Chatting streams, including working out with YouTuber Bradley Martyn.

According to streamscharts data, Sketch averages around an incredibly impressive 16,000 views per stream. He also recently hit his highest peak viewer count of 54,181 in a stream on March 21 with fellow Rainbow Six Seige streamer CaseOh. These ridiculous numbers haven’t come out of nowhere, however, as Sketch has cemented himself as not only a great Rainbow Six Seige player but also an incredibly popular personality with some seriously catchy catchphrases.

Some of his biggest streams include a 1v1 Rainbow Six Seige challenge against CaseOh in which he wagered $10,000. He also played a game of Madden NFL 2024 against Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner, the talented cornerback for the New York Jets.

What Is the “What’s Up Brother” Trend?

The “What’s up brother” TikTok trend largely sees women asking their partners, “What’s up brother?” before they reply with his catchphrase and iconic moves. It originated from Sketch, who frequently says “brother” while pointing his index finger into the air. He also has a number of other incredibly popular and frankly catchy catchphrases, including “Tuesday, Tuesday” and “special teams, special plays, special players.”

Naturally, fans of his have been pushing the trend on TikTok and other social media platforms. However, by far, the biggest boost to the trend was when famous people, including athletes from the NFL, NBA, and PGA Tour, began doing it. In fact, the NFL’s official TikTok account posted a clip of Sketch with the caption, “That’s right, brother!” Tanner Thomas of the Savannah Bananas partner touring team, the Party Animals, also posted a TikTok of the team repeating the popular catchphrase. Wild stuff.
