Call of Duty: MW3 is in Preseason right now, but many are wanting to know when Season 1 of the game will launch.
Call of Duty has adopted a seasonal format that sees new content such as maps, weapons, and modes released in the game every few months. As the Preseason of MW3 has been active since November 10, 2023, many are anxious for the arrival of Season 1. Below, we explain when players can expect the first season of Call of Duty: MW3 to begin.
Call of Duty: MW3 Season 1 starts on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. The season will likely start between 8 am ET/5 am PT/1 pm GMT and 12 pm ET/9 am PT/5 pm GMT. The start date lines up with the end date of Season 6 for Modern Warfare 2 and, therefore, is the most likely date unless delays arise. While there hasn’t been any confirmation from Sledgehammer Games on an official start time for Season 1, based on previous Call of Duty season releases and refresh times would put the start time in that window.
Season 1 looks to bring plenty of content when it launches, including the following:
Meat – 6v6 map (Season Launch)
Greece – 6v6 map (Season Launch)
Rio – 6v6 map (Mid-Season)
Gunfight (Returning Mode)
New MW3 Zombies mode content
Urzikstan (New Warzone map)
RAM-7 (Assault Rifle)
TAQ Evolvere (LMG)
XRK Stalker (Sniper Rifle)
HRM-9 -SMG (Mid-Season)
ARX-160 -Assault Rifle (Mid-Season)
