The Finals: How to Detect Enemies

Players will need to detect enemies in order to complete the “Serve and Detect” quest in The Finals. Here is how you do that.

There are a number of daily challenges that players can complete in The Finals, including “Serve and Detect.” This involves players detecting enemies, sometimes upwards of 50. However, this may not be easy to do if you are not sure how to detect enemies in the first place. Fortunately, we’ve got you covered. Below, we explain exactly how to detect enemies in The Finals.

How to Detect Enemies in The Finals

The best way to detect enemies in The Finals and complete the “Serve and Detect” daily quest is to use the Sonar Grenade. This is a gadget exclusive to the Medium class, which emits a pulse that reveals any enemies behind walls or within its range. If an enemy is caught within its radius, they’ll get an alert on their screen that reads “Detected.” Any enemy who receives this will count towards the “Serve and Detect” quest.

The grenade is particularly effective against anyone attempting to hide by using a Cloaking Device or Smoke Screen. Of course, there are other ways of detecting players, such as using the Motion Sensor of the Light Class or pinging enemies when you spot them. However, while these methods are effective at highlighting enemy locations, they do not count towards the “Serve and Detect” quest.
